The Perfect Score is a really good book that will make you laugh, feel sad, and make connections with the characters. It is told in the perspective of 5 6th graders. Randi; the gymnast who hasn't figured out her destiny, Trevor; the one who hates school and hates being home even more, Scott; the one who loves to help, Natalie; the rule-follower and a future lawyer, and Gavin; the one who struggles in reading. Everyone is dreading the state wide assesments called the "CSA's" comming up. But the test brings the kids in Mrs. Woods 6th grade class together in a surprising way.
